MODULE I: Attitudes

Core Competency Addressed:

Competency 10 – Be able to acknowledge and address values, issues and attitudes regarding alcohol and other drug use and dependence in:
Oneself
One's own family

Objectives:

1. Students will be able to identify their attitudes about alcoholism and drug dependency.

2. Students will be able to identify the most significant factors that contribute to the attitudes that they currently embrace with regard to addiction.

3. Students will be able to articulate the confusing and contradictory social and personal attitudes that have historically surrounded alcoholism and drug dependency.
