NACoA is so grateful to everyone around the world who cares about kids and teens impacted by the disease of addiction and are helping to raise awareness, educate their communities, and advocate for support and services to help. The more we share, the more who will care and join the effort so these children can feel seen, supported, and safe. |

Children’s Program Kit (CPK) |
Designed for school-aged kids and teens (K-12) with parents struggling with substance use disorders, the kit provides over 100 skill-based and developmentally appropriate lesson plans, along with everything needed to offer a strong and effective educational support program. Focuses on seven key areas: Addiction, Treatment & Recovery, Emotions, Coping, Safety, and Problem Solving. |
During COA Awareness Week we announced the addition of Grief Guidance in the CPK! |

Celebrating Families! (CF!) |
NACoA’s whole family recovery program. CF! is an evidence-based, trauma-informed, skill-building program focused on children’s future physical and behavioral health, including substance use disorders and mental health challenges. Adaptations are also available for Spanish-speaking or indigenous families. |
Every day, law enforcement professionals encounter children affected by substance use in their homes—during domestic calls, arrests, or welfare checks. Without trauma-informed training, these interactions can unintentionally cause further harm. NACoA’s Law Enforcement Curriculum is designed to change that. |
Training is available for each of these programs. Learn more about our training opportunities on the NACoA Events Page>> |
