NACoA is so grateful to everyone who cares about kids and teens who are impacted by the disease of addiction and are helping to raise awareness, educate their communities, and advocate for support and services to help. The more we share, the more who will care and join the effort so these children can feel seen, appreciated, and supported.

NACoA Resources Introduced During the Week |
Tools for Early Childhood Professionals – This is the update to NACoA’s long-standing resource kit for early childhood professionals. It provides valuable information to those who lay the groundwork and foundational skills in the formative years so young children can be healthy and resilient when growing up in homes affected by substance use disorders.
I AM ME App – NACoA is proud to partner with the app’s creator and health advocate Clair Libby, BA, MSc, IIN to launch this cutting-edge digital platform in the US. It has been designed to help teens and young adults navigate the complex landscape of mental health in today’s fast-paced and highly digital world. The I AM ME app provides tools, resources, and proactive strategies to empower adolescents and young adults to take charge of their well-being. Its launch comes at a critical time when rates of anxiety and depression among teens are on the rise. I AM ME app is available for download in App Store and Google Play.
Seven Cs Translations – Every child who is impacted by the disease of addiction in their family deserves to have a copy of the Seven Cs. NACoA is helping make that possible with its latest translations in 16 different languages. More children than ever before can now be introduced to a path to healthier living provided by this resource, helping kids and teens learn what they cannot change in their families, and that they can still be okay.
