NACoA is pleased to announce our significant programmatic update for the Celebrating Families! curriculum. Following the successful transition of the curriculum to an online platform in 2024, we have focused on enhancing the content, expanding resources, and modernizing the materials to better support facilitators, families, and communities.
The latest updates incorporate the most current research on family recovery, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based strategies to promote family healing. New tools and techniques have been integrated to empower facilitators and improve program delivery, ensuring that families receive the highest level of support in their healing journey.
To assist sites and organizational trainers with this transition, NACoA will be hosting an informational webinar next month. This session will provide a comprehensive overview of the curriculum enhancements and offer guidance on best practices for implementation. Stay tuned for a formal announcement with details on the webinar schedule and how to access these valuable updates.

Why Organizations Should Support NACoA and Become Affiliate Members
|
| |
|
For 42 years, the National Association for Children of Addiction (NACoA) has been the unwavering voice for children living in families impacted by alcohol or opioid use disorders. These children — 1 in 5 in the United States — often endure pain, isolation, and fear in silence. They are among the first hurt and the last helped. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Through NACoA’s advocacy, education, and support programs, we ensure that these children find hope, healing, and resilience. By becoming an Affiliate Member, your organization will play a crucial role in transforming the landscape of resources for children affected by parental substance use disorder.
Learn more about becoming a NACoA Affiliate Member helping children and families heal, and stand with use to be the voice for these children.
