Celebrating Families! National Online Group Leader Training

This 2½-day online training is designed for professionals and volunteers interested in facilitating the 16-session, evidence-based Celebrating Families! (CF!) program—a trauma-informed, family-centered model proven to support recovery, promote reunification, and strengthen healthy family living skills.

CF! addresses the impact of substance use disorders (SUDs) on the entire family. Participants learn about the effects of substances on the brain, risk and protective factors, the role of trauma, and how to engage families across age groups in healing and education. This training helps grow existing programs by equipping new staff and community partners to join your team and co-lead sessions.

Together, we’ll explore the realities and nuances of working with diverse families, review curriculum materials, experience key program activities firsthand, and even practice presenting exercises in a supportive group setting.

Training Goals:

1. Explore the unique, evidence-based approach of Celebrating Families!
2. Build confidence in using the Celebrating Families! curriculum.
3. Learn to facilitate multi-generational educational support groups.
4. Engage in hands-on activities to deepen understanding and skill.

NAADAC service hour CEUs will be provided for this training.

Cost of the training: $875 per person; does not include cost of curriculum.

Curriculum is needed throughout the entire training.
